Ayurveda is the most cutting edge and ancient science of healing to sweep the world.

Ayurveda, Sanskrit for the wisdom and science of life, ayus meaning life and veda meaning knowledge, is the oldest holistic approach to health and well-being. The value of keeping our bodies in balance has been researched within the science of Ayurveda for over 5,000 years. Thousands of established medical studies are strong as it is taught around the globe.
It emphasizes total health by looking at all aspects of the individual and treating the problem rather than the symptom. More than just a healing process, it is a lifestyle with the ultimate goal being "svastha", or in  perfect health.

Ayurveda is also known as The Science of Yoga.

The basic principle states that each person is governed by the three energies kapha, vata and pitta. Though everyone has a dominant dosha, which influences everything from skin type to personality, keeping all three in balance is the key to inner health and outer beauty. These doshas determine your health, your appearance, your personality traits, and your overall response what is happening in your life.
Ayurveda follows the belief that to achieve true health we must be in physical, emotional and spiritual balance. It looks to treat the whole body, not just the symptoms of a disease and relies on a hierarchy of Ayurvedic roots, fruits, spices and herbs; diet, massage and yoga to diagnose and for treatment.

Yoga is the sister practice to Ayurvedic medicine; it's core concept, therapeutic principles, and current relevance is changing the world. Ayurveda, yoga and meditation practiced in combination bring healing power to the body and soul.

With the world's food supply being saturated with toxins and our wellbeing being attacked from all sides, big pharma is not the answer. A powerful synergy of utilizing a one and only Tri-Dosha approach to inner and outer beauty can give you the opportunity to add 30 - 50 years to your life, full of youthful vitality and vibrant health!

The Three Doshas

Vata, pitta, and kapha are the three doshas. In ayurveda, everything is composed of five dense elements, which represent the five states of energy or matter. These elements are ether, air, fire, water, and earth.

Each dosha is a combination of two of these elements.
Vata is made up of air and ether, pitta is of fire and water, and kapha consists of water and earth. Everyone has a little of each dosha, with one dosha more prominent than the others.

Sylvester Stallone and Bill Clinton use Ayurveda to improve their golf game and their hearts ant the same time!

Once you know your dosha, you can model all areas of your life around balancing it, keeping you in optimum health. For example: Sylvester Stallone turned to it to treat his knee!

The science of Ayurveda is making a huge impact on weight management, fitness, muscle tone, body mass, metabolism and weight loss, because it addresses the reasons why people put on weight. A lifetime of absorbing a toxic environment, eating toxic food and holding in toxic emotions in the cells is why people put on weight. Your body is protecting it's vital organs from stress and imbalance. Most of the time people eat because they have been brainwashed to grab the wrong foods for their body and they try to satisfy an emotional and mental hunger, not a physical one.

Just think of the irony of McDonald's as a prime sponsor of  the 2012 Olympics.

When people choose to treat themselves better they are also excited to find that their hair, skin, nails and taste, hearing and sight improve as well.

The rich and famous have always known about Ayurveda for health and beauty.
