Today I know for sure our paths are aligned for a very special time. A wave of several generations are interwoven in a vision that has never been seen before, a collaboration of trust and integrity is making things happen with young women and mentoring wisdom that is not the norm of the past. A new quilt of many colors, many ages and many experiences is being wrapped around humanity.

My purpose in today's essay is to share how one can be aware of the disfunction and pain in todays reality yet stay balanced and focused on our dreams and desires at the same time. Anger can fuel good and great things for you. 

Do not get distracted from your creative talents for too long because it is these talents that will raise us all higher. 

Collaboration is key to balancing radical empathy and helping while staying on point with our work, we have to do this together. 

It has been ironic to feel so excited by all the fantastic progress we are making in so many arenas yet knowing the daily barrage of cruelty and horror is happening at the same time. 

What To Do?

One of the exciting vehicles I have created is my feature stories and coverage of some of the coolest women in my sphere that I cover in Women To Watch AZ. My next feature is about an incredible woman who has published a searing and brilliant memoir on rising from the ashes of trauma in the midwest. Let It Be...

One of the wise sayings that resonates with me on a daily basis is 

"Slow down to go faster."

I believe this is an important topic because I have found that the path to happiness is a balance of discernment and non-judgement. 

All very successful, creative "business forward thinking" leaders like Richard Branson, David Lynch, Goldie Hawn, Susan Sarandon and Sara Blakely have a combination of caring, hustle and space time. 

They invest the time to switch gears from the linear mind of the left brain ego, (feeling you have to know everything for something to be real), to ALLOWING the right brain to intuitively receive.

I used to think that if change needs to happen it required me to do even more to create the shift. 

What I have found is that the harder you push the more ignorance (the darkness) pushes back. The reason I chose the word ignorance is because we are constantly evolving into the unknowing. Life is all about the wisdom of when to work harder and when to relax as you open the space for the change to happen according to universal momentum.

Do you embrace the way the new well-being corporate environment is improving in regards to scheduling in yoga, meditation, walks and family? Have you embraced a shift in your family life? 

The Top 12 Things I do daily to take care of myself and create my environment that results in more accomplishment are:

1)   Meditate twice a day

2)   Recapitulate my day.

3)   Be grateful

4)   Breathe well

5)   Slow down and do yoga

6)   Walk in nature and be with my animals

7)   Remove the watch and turn off electrionics in between working

8)   Eat well and drink lots of good water

9)   Schedule email, phone and messaging

10) Sleep well and pay attention to dreams

11) Stay away from the 24/7 tar babies, whiners and complainers

12) Read well and surround myself with smart, creative and happy people  

Don't hold on to the past and embrace the future one step at a time.

Monkey Business

This is the Year of the Red Monkey and what does that mean in 2016?

Depending on what year you were born sets the tone for what you need to develop in the new year of the monkey. I was born in the year of the pig according to chinese astrology and the pig and monkey work together this year. Spiritual and ancient meaning is incredibly interesting to me and this makes sense to my life as a huge shift is coming into our universe.

The Fruit of the Monkey is Red, The Root Chakra is Red...

Meaning?

Be Grounded as You Fly with the Monkey's!

ALLOWING...

and eliminating all that does not serve the greater good.

I have experienced life beyond knowing and I am prepared to guide others with inspired and wise decision making, including the relationships, networks and tools to get it done easily. 

The Pig is about running water and change. 

If I flow with change and allow the water to cleanse and renew it is all good. Fighting the flow only creates a dam and stops or stagnates energy. The Monkey will provide the knowledge, education, protection, wisdom and training for a supported life of abundance. 

What does abundance mean to you? 

To me it is about time freedom to be with those I care about and to follow my own heartfelt and God given talents with action. The only way to allow wisdom to appear as abundance grows, is the to have the space to meditate with experience...and that takes time.

We are officially launching the “I Am Compassion Peace Project”! 

This morning's global ‪meditation event was amazing, people logging on all over the world at 9:am PT. The shift is upon us to allow empowerment based on peace and kindness. Mediation based on meditation, clear communication and empathy. Deepak Chopra's goal to reach a Million people meditating at the same time several years ago is now in the several millions. 

I was there when this amazing effort was birthed at the Chopra Center with 300 people meditating for 3 hours. It was powerful, there are no words for how it felt.

Are You Naked Yet?

What do I mean by naked?

It’s time to take off your clothes to your skivvies and stand up for your truth, dive into that freezing water! It’s only a shock for a moment then you feel refreshed and your personal source is no longer hidden,

 …or you will be left behind.

I’ve noticed that there are many experts in the marketing and business arena who I feel are speaking from underneath a layer of plastic wrap,

…or a face mask.

Where did they learn that behavior?

It is so ingrained. It is like removing sand out of everyone’s bathing suits after a trip to the beach.

I believe it comes from a deep cellular deadening of our gifts from a long history of “follow the leader” or you will be sent to the hallway in shame

.  

One way to access your inner desires and learn to unravel the fear of putting your face front and center with your business, invention or creative desire and own it, is to practice meditation.

If you truly want to love what you do, it takes time to remove the layers of cement. You can do it. If you really want to connect with those people all over the world, that resonate with your heart, you have to show yours.

You are your own sunbeam, powered by desire. Let people know what lights your fire after you dry off, it will rocket your life and business to the moon.
