The New Normal

July 2024

It is beyond belief how far we have moved forward, yet we are here.
I look back daily and wonder how much I have accomplished since my last post here,
it blows my mind!

My life has never been better or happier, post everything and post COVID.

I am now creating art full time and I have built a brand new art portfolio that continues to grow.

More soon!

Excited!

Path of Feathers

This is a feather that showed up for me this month at the entrance to my home. This ancient symbol means shift and change guided by angels.

Seduction of Spirit retreat at
The Chopra Center

I am thrilled to share how exciting it is to do exactly what I was born to do and 10 tips on why a better term for the Law of Attraction is the Law of Allowing as proposed by Anita Moorjani in her book "Dying To Be Me".

The universal energy that you want to tap into you were born with and can remember.

"This divine energy is your Charism, a unique expression of grace that empowers you to fulfill your Sacred Contract."
 - Carolyn Myss, Sacred Contracts, Awakening Your Divine Potential

My Top 10 Daily Law of Allowing Tips:

  1. Meditate twice a day. Begin simply with 10 minutes before doing anything and 10 minutes at night. Grow your practice gradually to a half hour 2x per day. Make it a habit you can not live without.
  2. Journal and write down your dreams in the morning. Much will be revealed from your subconscious.
  3. Learn to breath properly and deeply. If you are stressed or in a hurry, stop and breath.
  4. Take a break every hour during work sessions. Say no to overwork.
  5. Have fun, participate in laughter yoga, watch funny movies and choose to be happy.
  6. Go outside and play, walk and smell the roses. Dance, read and do art. Turn off the phone to allow your inspiration to reveal itself.
  7. Eat really good nutritious food. Turn off the electronics and BE with the people you are with now and listen.
  8. Practice being grateful and recapitulate your day every evening in a way best for you, after or before meditation and by journaling.
  9. Forgive yourself and others, even when you have come up against evil and poor behavior that lacks grace, you can move on to your highest self. Even after life emergencies, trauma and PTSD, be patient and let it all go. Your heart will thank you.
  10. Treat yourself and love yourself first. You do not owe anyone anything. You were created by the divine for a higher purpose, your own heart's desires and talents.
I AM EXCITED FOR YOU!

As you see signs cross your path, like the feather, and animals or images in your life and dreams, pay attention and know that life is sending you symbols of revelation.

"Attention and Intention"

will guide your desires with ease and grace.

KNOW that the change you wish for will be revealed if you are listening.

Namaste' and love, Jilly

Cold or Virus?

Can a gif image contain a virus?

Dangerous file types can be hidden in a gif file or video and be executed on your computer by automatically opening as a gif.

When the original link and code is hidden you will not know you are infecting all your friends computers tablets, laptops and phones when you share it.

Doing anything on the internet and not being smart about it is not being a good friend to anyone.

A common tactic of malware writers is to disguise malicious files by hiding the file extension or adding spaces to the existing extension.

Solution: ALWAYS check the source link before sharing anything. If the link to the art doesn't go anyware and the art moves, get off that page or site immediately.

The malware can also be embeded in the advertising on the website page.

If a Facebook, Google+, Twitter friend shares the "cute" gif or video post with hidden malware, they are hacked when the executable file downloads into their computer and webpage. When someone clicks on the art in an ad, the same result happens.

Warn them in a private message or phone call to remove the art immediately!

 Facebook

Any website can be designed look legit.

Basic check website advice:
Scroll to the bottom of the website you are checking the link on and check the security credentials and source.
Search for information on that site.

Be aware the internet has a dark side.

I live by the philosophy if you’re not willing to lose all the data on every PC on the network,
and have to invest $2,000 on average to have just one computer restored by security experts. PLUS, invest the 6 months to get your computer back in your office healthy with all it's memory...
don’t share malware.

Tucson Women of Wisdom

Life is about remembering and forgetting.

Have you ever stopped and carved out a moment to reflect through meditation?

Meditation is necessary, vital, to start with a blank slate in order to write a story based on what you really want, not what people tell you to do, not what you need to do to graduate whatever, not to please your parents or bank, or friends and relatives, but what God has put in your body, heart and cells to accomplish.

Do you think that it's an accident that you have desires?

It's not.

When doctors told me in my teens and twenties that I needed to learn breath work and meditation to keep my health and pain level in check, I told them "when will I have time for that?"

Working 24/7 for someone who doesn't care for you and raising $30,000 to a million dollars a month was my first error. I no longer do that because I remembered.

If you are in survival mode stop. It will never change if you don't release and forget that cellular memory.

I highly suggest listening to your heart, release the baggage, than remember who and what to focus on that will give you access to the tools you need to achieve your desire.

Remembering is easy after that is accomplished and it's only accomplished after meditation.

Find a place in your home for 5 minutes every morning. No ifs ands or buts, do it. Lock the door of the bathroom if you have to and put out a sign. They will learn by your example.

To summarize, you only have now to do what you wish for and you deserve it. What your desire is will change the world because it is supposed to.

Don't let life get in the way of living yours, Namaste' Jilly

A Little More About Me

Hello!

Thank you for coming by and learning more! I would like to share a little about me before going further. I was originally born in the absolutely beautiful city of Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan and the Original Ann Arbor Street Art Fair. I traveled and was raised all over the state from Grosse Pointe, Detroit, Traverse City, Lake Charlevoix and all the way up to the cold of Lake Superior to our family cabin in Blackjack, located in the Upper Peninsula, where my grandmother and our Finnish relatives taught us about saunas and skinny dipping! It was a great place to grow up, learn all kinds of sports, water skiing, sail and motor boating, snow skiing, horseback riding, dance, music and biking. I began my advanced education at the U of M at a very young age to study medical illustration and fine art, before my family moved to the great wide open, clear blue sky, mountain filled, southwest.

Go Blue!

Tucson, Arizona has been my home for many years, where I have loved traveling all over the state to Flagstaff, Sedona, Amado, Tubac, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Nogales, Oak Creek Canyon and all the lakes. My favorite water spot being Canyon Lake where I used to go boating with my Dad. Another favorite home was when we were part of the IBM family in San Jose, California; often visiting a favorite city of mine, San Francisco. One of the really neat things I get to do now is learn about and visit all kinds of great locations meeting some incredible people. I love San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Austin, Manhattan, New York, Toronto, Seattle, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Mexico City and Chicago.

Miss boating with my Dad

My friends call me Jilly and I grew up in a family of self made men and women who owned their own medical practices and businesses. Our family is made up of dentists, wellness professionals, physicians, ministers and artists. This includes my incredible grandmother, Helen Vitali Jesson, who spoke eight languages and traveled all over the world to Russia and China. I am the eldest of many cousins and have family all over the globe. It is such a pleasure and joy to hook up with relatives in London, Canada, Finland, Italy, Scotland, South America and more!

Sadly, both my parents, in laws and three of my grandparents are now passed away and my mother's father is in his 100's now living in Colorado. Dealing with the deaths of so many I love has been life changing and renewing at the same time. Taking care of them while they were ill, dealing with the horrific health care system and letting them go changes everything.

My Mom and Dad loved Michigan

Because I love and am passionate about so many things I call myself a New Age Renaissance Women. It is difficult to put it in a nutshell. I am a talented artist and designer, writer, media guru and geek who gets excited about technology, branding and packaging. My background includes being long time successful multi-media executive who loves raising revenue, smart thinking and creativity.

I spearheaded the launch of many established TV, newspaper and car dealer websites; partnering with successful national and international interactive advertising brand campaigns. I know what products and people have the right stuff to be successful.

The bold color and photography I use for my art, and documenting the huge world shift that is happening now, is combined with a very spiritual and deep understanding. I have been studying health and wellness all my life; reading every single medical publication I could get my hands on since I could first read my father's Journal of the American Medical Association.

God has put all my experience and talents in a direction of helping others as he has helped me through the healing power of Ayurveda. A lifetime of chronic illness, which affected all the things I love to do, is now completely gone and I will share more on how in upcoming posts.

I have accomplished many things, but I am most excited about starting my education in Perfect Health by pursuing my goal of a Master's in Ayurvedic Medicine and helping people feel better. My own business has always been what has given me joy and happiness and I absolutely love being able to choose who is in my life. I am surrounded by the best people I have ever worked with, sharing the tools of financial and health freedom. We are helping family's open their minds to find the love, desire, health and prosperity they deserve through mind, body, spirit healing.

The philanthropic arm of my company is also very powerful. We give to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital  and we have a focus on eliminating the abuse that affects children, seniors and animals. Animals have always been huge in my life and I have a house full!

I love my friends, sharing and cooking in my kitchen, being outside on the patio and in the garden, shopping for good food, eating well, reading wonderful books, painting, designing jewelry, yoga, modern dance, meditation, walking my dogs in the mountain air and listening to all kinds of music. A happy day is filled with art, fashion and film, sitting at a bistro having fun anywhere in the world with friends and family!

Namaste and Love, Jilly

Life Changing

Dear Friends,

It is a joy to meet you and thank you for stopping by to visit. My blog is about making your life more delicious, creative, passionate and fun. I will be sharing my journey as I have brought the ancient science of Ayurveda into my life and changed my world. I have passed through the wall of pain, fog and prescription drugs by going back to nature. Most people have no awareness of this new cutting edge research. Western medicine has completely cut off the wisdom that God placed on this earth and inside our bodies.

You now ask "What is Ayurveda?"

Ayurveda is the foundation for all medicine that pre-dates everything, yes everything.

Namaste and Love,
Jilly

Having a blast with friends!
