Why March?

Strength in Synergy, Diversity and Passion

This year I have felt the power of the feminine in collaboration as we are faced with a new unexpected challenge. What does this mean?

I have observed that many of us have been too comfortable either in our pain, status or safe zone.
Many people have gone through horrific times beyond anyone's imagination and many have not causing a huge clash in viewpoints.
As a result the universe is telling us we need to shake things up to move forward again.

A firestorm is errupting and it suprises and shocks me when I see comments reflecting the questions:

"Why are we speaking up and marching?"
"What is the big deal?"
"What do you have to complain about?"

Victoria Steele
shared why our Tucson Womens March on Washington is vital to our personal, family and community wellbeing

"It takes empathy to form a more perfect union"

- Victoria Steele

In a year when Harriet Tubman made headlines to honor and acknowledge people of color,
the fact that it feels like we are starting all over again to stand tall for our
equal rights seems insane.

This month is Women's History Month and we are finally free to choose and be respected for our ambitions.

Therefore the pushback has started again.

"There is an enormous amount of ignorance."

I believe that we are undergoing another evolutionary breakthrough in our humanity and we have to step up to the plate.
We either change and grow or go backwards and wither.

Life is is a cycle of remembering and forgetting.

Synergy is in action when several complimentary films are produced in the same period. This is a reflection of the universal momentum that rises subconsciously and begins through the arts first.
Now that we have many female mentors in strong positions to create a world based on respect and accomplishment, the bully factor kicks in to fight from an old luddite mentality.

"Is war still the only language men listen to?"

In 2017 Stereotypes Are Still In Play

"A women in power is often seen as a negative thing."

- Pat Mitchell, Paley Center for Media,
Variety

Messages for girls and young women have basically sucked and women themselves are still a huge part of the problem.

Many of us did not

“have time to be pissed,...”

If we do not make the time now

when will we?

Now is time to align with strong smart talented women and support each other's work, there is only room for collaboration. Old thinking still degrades our strength and women fall into the quick sand everyday by lack of awareness.

10 Wisdoms to Put Your Passion Into Action:

  1. Pay attention before sharing anything, do a few moments of research and reflection, ask yourself and others "where does this originate from?"
  2. Support other women's talents and businesses that support their families. Network where it counts.
  3. Help by being there when you know a friend is caretaking a dying friend or family member. Remember that they have a ton of responsibilities that you may not have.
  4. Stop playing into anything that lacks integrity for a short term gain. You will have to live with the ramifications.
  5. Show up and listen to what is affecting our communities.
  6. Do more for other women than "just do lunch" in women's groups.
  7. Learn, be a part, listen and incorporate change.
  8. Treat others with respect and empathy.
  9. Collaborate with conscious communication.
  10. Stop the cycle of being a victim in your own work and life just because it is the norm.
Examples for number 10:
- I saw another comment recently to raise money for "poor broke ass_______(you fill in the blank)'. Why would that be a wise investment in a community that has been saying that same thing for decades?
- If you observe sexism and abuse in your workplace, neighborhood or home do you speak up?

How to Start: I highly suggest journaling to get in touch with how you really feel, do more knowing and allowing for yourself and less pleasing. Pleasing is not caring, it is only a habit. Meditate on what moves your heart beyond anger.

If you have children or are a teacher I suggest MindUp to help guide the future leaders of our world.

" helps children develop greater empathy and compassion for themselves and for others, through understanding different perspectives."

- Goldie Hawn, The Hawn Foundation

Why Magnificence?

You are magnificent, period, no explanation required.

There are angels all around you.
Are your eyes wide shut or are they open to see?

Today, I was reflecting on all the interesting and fascinating people I am blessed to meet. Learning about their gifts and seeing the life glowing from their eyes and smiles. Each person creates something amazing with talents from God.

It makes it all the more heartbreaking to feel the anger that flows through a day.

I pray and meditate for forgiveness and understanding for the dysfunctional infliction of pain and suffering on our fellow beings. It is a vicious cycle. We can help by giving comfort in times of deep pain that there are no words to express. Listening and hearing with tears can express a deep concern for our friends grief and the victims of tragedy.

Praying for all family's who have had a loss, please bring love to flow around each person everywhere. Grieving is a cycle of recovery that takes years and patience.

The more people we know, the more our hearts open and the more we can experience and feel as those friends transition either in life or death.

When you go to a place of total love there is no fear.

If you come across someone in your path today who is always reacting in fear, bless them and walk away with compassion.

Fear based reactions are:

Sarcasm
Complaining
Blocking (the hand)
Gossip
Anger
Stuck

Feeling, expressing and experiencing these negative emotions is OK, it means a solution is needed or can be found. The problem comes when the reaction is deep in your inner being and stays stuck for years. Then it is a habit. This is why so many suffer. The suffering ripples out and slams other people unconsciously.

Create a new habit, think before speaking or writing, use manners and graciousness, be compassionate. Stop being mean to others. Say yes to something you can learn.

Magnifence is an attribute that is God given. If you know yours, you will know greatness in your soul.

Dare greatly today because there is only today,
Jilly

What Does Easter Mean to You?

Did you know I love to grow from scratch?

Easter is a time of rebirth, growth and a special moment to celebrate our magnificence!

As I transition to a new living or work space, I bring cuttings of special plants from the place I'm moving from.

As they flourish and grow...

I celebrate new opportunities, awesome friends and an amazing future full of love, adoration and creativity.

The photo art reflects my blooming bottle brush tree I planted in honor of the loss of many pets and family. I always plant a bottle brush tree to clean the air where they reside. The prickly pear cactus I grew from cuttings from one of my first homes and it is a fabulous meditation spot.

May you see amazing growth in your environment this spring,

Hugs and Love, Jilly,

Tucson Women of Wisdom

Life is about remembering and forgetting.

Have you ever stopped and carved out a moment to reflect through meditation?

Meditation is necessary, vital, to start with a blank slate in order to write a story based on what you really want, not what people tell you to do, not what you need to do to graduate whatever, not to please your parents or bank, or friends and relatives, but what God has put in your body, heart and cells to accomplish.

Do you think that it's an accident that you have desires?

It's not.

When doctors told me in my teens and twenties that I needed to learn breath work and meditation to keep my health and pain level in check, I told them "when will I have time for that?"

Working 24/7 for someone who doesn't care for you and raising $30,000 to a million dollars a month was my first error. I no longer do that because I remembered.

If you are in survival mode stop. It will never change if you don't release and forget that cellular memory.

I highly suggest listening to your heart, release the baggage, than remember who and what to focus on that will give you access to the tools you need to achieve your desire.

Remembering is easy after that is accomplished and it's only accomplished after meditation.

Find a place in your home for 5 minutes every morning. No ifs ands or buts, do it. Lock the door of the bathroom if you have to and put out a sign. They will learn by your example.

To summarize, you only have now to do what you wish for and you deserve it. What your desire is will change the world because it is supposed to.

Don't let life get in the way of living yours, Namaste' Jilly

Joy

What does Joy mean to you?

After a certain point in life you have layers of protection and pleasing to create a home and family.
It takes time to peel back the onion to find the core of your being. As you do this process, you will carefully find what truly makes you happy based on who you are inside, what you truly want.

Sometimes this change can be difficult as you remove obstacles and the clutter holding you back.

The good news is that as you practice doing what you want, you find your joy and choices are easier and wiser for your unique being. Your choice to heal, love and to be a better person inspires others and it ripples across the energy field.

May the change you wish be found within your own heart.

Happiness

Welcome to International Happiness Day!

This is a huge transitional time in our history, economy, lifestyle, business, technology and in my own personal life. After the Winter Solstice, I knew this First Day of Spring 2014 was going to be extremely important. The Vernal Equinox is when the center of the sun crosses the equator and I believe we are crossing to a new "mind bending" millenium. The changes are going to be arriving upon us faster than ever.

After a decade of great loss of family, horrific and even more sudden deaths of many, many friends, I feel the grief has made me even more in touch with how happy I am to be alive during this incredible shift. The colors are brighter, the laughter is sparkling and people are making the decision to embrace the now with gusto!

If something is not fair or not right, we are doing something about it because we have the power. We are choosing, as a nation, to see through the difficulties and take a higher road of conscious choice and awareness. This is only the beginning.

"H" Stands for Happiness and Humanity and the fact that we are all here to make all humans we come into contact with happy.

Life naturally evolves in the direction of happiness. We must constantly ask ourselves if what we are doing is going to make us, happy. Because happiness is the ultimate goal. It is the goal of all other goals.

When we seek money, or a good relationship, or a great job, what we are really seeking is happiness. The mistake we make is not going for happiness first. If we did, everything would follow."

What is Your Purpose?

Fall is Here!

This morning I was reading one of my favorite books, "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. The wisdom contained in this book is phenominal. I believe it is vital when the leaves change colors to review the year so far and make adjustments to prepare for a transition into the next.

I'm one of those people who finds a solution to any of life's challenges, take care of it, then move on to the next breakthrough and powerful plan that God has shared.

Diversity is the key to success and creativity fosters new ideas that change the world. Finding the "truth will set you free, but first it may make you miserable!" is true for most people looking to improve their lives. During your journey you may run into those that do not have your best interest at heart. What do you do when that happens? You make a change.

"It has never been easier in history to fulfill your commission to go to the whole world." - Rick Warren

My commission is to help you level the playing field by sharing that you have the right to protect yourself and your family, find the work that brings you joy and be worry free. Any problem from the trivial to the traumatic can knock you off balance. You can be blindsided by evil. Now you can find fairness and protect yourself with a solid rock of the law on your side.

It would be an honor to help you when you feel you have been treated unfairly by bringing you access to legal advice on anything, yes anything that you need help with for a very low affordable fee. We are leveling the playing field with rock solid support that you probably have never experienced in the history of your family, business and career.

What are you allowing to stand in the way of your mission?
Let's take care of it together.

Don't allow anyone to take advantage of your life, Jilly
